Alan always has a great deal of recent developments and updates, and he always presents on the hottest and most interesting topics and techniques – but everything he talks about is impactful and compelling! Alan educates us and speaks to our industry and how these topics impact not just our industry, but our work, what we do, every day! Alan Davidson, Esq. is well known in the NJ arena and is one of the leading practitioners in the field. Alan is also one of the most respected and most well-liked professionals in our industry. Alan provides his clients with exceptional counsel and support across a wide range of practice areas including estate planning and administration, individual and corporate tax planning, business agreements (including stockholder, partnership and operating agreements, employment and deferred compensation agreements) and purchases and sales of closely-held businesses. Alan is adept at unraveling even the most complex probate and intestacy matters. His extraordinarily varied background in tax law and trusts & estates allows Alan to find creative solutions that protect his clients’ interests.
Alan is a “Super Lawyer” listing recipient since 2019, and a member and past president of the Greater New Jersey Estate Planning Council (“GNJEPC). Alan has been awarded the Accredited Estate Planner® Designation (AEP) from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and is a frequent lecturer on estate, business and tax matters to both professional and lay organizations. Alan has authored several publications including “Using QTIP Trusts in Planning Elective Share Bequests,” which was published in the New Jersey Law Journal. Additionally, Alan co-authored “Sophisticated Estate Planning: Using the Tax Laws to Your Client’s Advantage” published for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education (“ICLE”).
Alan will cover a great deal of everything, from big tax court cases to laws and legislation, recent developments, new and exciting strategies and techniques, what’s going on in NJ, the good, the bad and the ugly – in the world of estate and gift-tax planning, financial, elder care, insurance and business planning.
