What’s Hot and What’s Not Right Now: Estate and Asset Protection Planning Under COVID-19
Date: Wednesday, May 6, 2020
Time: 12:00pm - 2:00pm
Speaker: Daniel Rubin, Esq.
We all know that, in addition to a pandemic and health emergency, the coronavirus and the resulting quarantines and effects, have had a devastating effect on the economy. We see what has happened in the equity markets worldwide. We have seen the impact on individuals, families, and businesses both large and small. We are seeing the impact on economies around the world.
Make no mistake – planning necessarily continues even in an unfortunate economic landscape. With or without you, clients will continue to undertake planning to save taxes, protect and preserve assets, and shore up family governance, although the techniques and motivations may be different, and advisors may need to provide timely and directed guidance so that clients understand the different planning opportunities that now exist.
Dan Rubin is a nationally known estate and asset protection attorney, and will speak to the council about “What’s Hot and What’s Not Right Now,” in connection with estate, tax, and gift tax planning, and in connection with asset protection planning, in light of the global pandemic health emergency which has unfortunately also had a devastating effect on the global economy. We are now looking at a different landscape, not just a low-interest rate environment, but one with suppressed and depressed asset values.
Dan will review the techniques and motivations most appropriate in light of the current pandemic so that you can remain at the cutting edge of effective planning for your clients throughout the pandemic, and then after the world normalizes.
This is absolutely going to be a DO NOT MISS EVENT with a nationally known expert! Please join us for this free video/web meeting!
