Whether you’re an attorney, accountant, investment professional, insurance professional, any professional working with business owners, advising them, and planning for them, can be very different, very complex, and sometimes can lead us into very uncharted waters. Is this an estate tax or estate planning discussion? Is this a business succession planning discussion? Is this a strategic sale or an exit strategy discussion? Or is it all of them?\n \n \n \nVery often, the business is the most valuable asset a client owns. It may make up a major part of a client’s estate. Even if it doesn’t, any planning in and around a business can be very different, very complex, and very challenging. In this very exciting presentation, we are proud to have Kenneth Alter, Managing Director, and Board Member, of Planning Alliance, Woodcliff Lake, NJ and Shrewsbury, NJ, present on “The Intersection of Business Succession, Exit, and Estate Planning.” Ken is a nationally known expert who will share how to approach the business owner client, how to differentiate yourself from other professionals, and how to successfully work with business owners.\n \n \n \nKen will introduce us to his unique approach when dealing with business owners, and how he gets them into a very engaging conversation and planning process. His presentation will include business succession planning, exit planning, estate planning, life insurance, with a special focus on ESOP’s (Employee Stock Ownership Plans). Ken will cover topics such as using ESOP’s to facilitate, augment, and enhance the estate plan, creative uses of life insurance, including the funding of any repurchase obligations, charitable planning with ESOP;s, and more.\n \n \n \nThis is going to be a don’t miss presentation! Ken is going to show us both the planning opportunities and pitfalls, as well how to identify great planning opportunities that will greatly benefit the business owner and solidify and further our relationship with them.\n \n \n \nPlease RSVP FOR THIS HYBRID EVENT (both live and on Zoom) right away!\n \n \n \nREGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:\n\n\n \n\n\n1.
