DESCRIPTION:\n  \nPlease join The Very Best Income Tax and Estate \nPlanning Ideas for 2021 and Beyond \n  \nWhen: Wednesday, June 9th, 2021 \nWhere: Webinar Only \nTime: 9:00 am to 11:00 am EST \n  \n \nThis is going to be our best SPECIAL EVENT EVER! We are very excited and proud to have none other than nationally renowned Turney Berry, Esq., as our speaker for our GNJEPC June Special Event! Mr. Berry is a nationally recognized leader in the areas of estate and income tax, and business planning, as well as estate and trust administration, charitable giving, and tax-exempt organizations. He is the Chair of the Wyatt (Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs) Trusts, Estates & Personal Planning Department, and he also serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. Wyatt (Tarrant & Combs) is a nationally known law firm and traces its roots back more than 200 years. They maintain an active national practice with five offices throughout the South-Central United States.  \n \n \n \nDuring 2020, tax, trust, and estate planning had become even more challenging for estate planning professionals. Then, we had a Presidential election, subsequent election challenges and lawsuits, and a surprise outcome in Georgia, leading to a Democrat controlled House and Senate. No sooner did we start to hear about tax law changes – lower exemptions, higher tax rates, no step up in basis, and more! Couple this with the US hopefully exiting a global pandemic, the impact on the economy, several stimulus acts and payments, and now planning for our clients has become even more complicated and challenging! Regardless of your role or profession, if you work with clients, it is now more critical than ever before for you to be aware of all of the potential planning opportunities, strategies, and techniques available to your clients.  \n \n \n \nTurney Berry is not only a well-known author and speaker, and one of the leading experts in the tax, trust and estate planning field, but in short, he is one of the best and most brilliant minds in our industry! He is a member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and is very active in the organization. He has served as the President of the ACTEC Foundation, Regent of the College, State Chair for Kentucky, Chair of the Estate & Gift Committee, and Chair of the Charitable and Tax-Exempt Committee. Currently he serves as Vice Chair of the State Laws Committee, and a member of the Long-Range Planning Committee. \n \n \n \nMr. Berry is also a member of the American Law Institute, a member of The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, a member of the Advisory Council of the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning, a Member of the Advisory Board of Trusts and Estates Monthly, and a member of the Bloomberg BNA Tax Advisory Board (Estates, Gifts, and Trusts). He serves as Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami Estate Planning LLM Program (teaching Business Succession Planning), and has served as Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University, the University of Missouri, and the University of Louisville. If you attend Heckerling, you’ve seen him present there numerous times and has been one of the featured speakers/presenters there as well. While Mr. Berry has been certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, more importantly he a member of the very prestigious Estate Planning Hall of Fame!  \n \n \n \nMr. Berry received the Texas Bar Foundation Outstanding Law Review Article award for an article he co-authored with Paul Lee titled “Retaining, Sustaining and Obtaining Basis.” He is a member of the Louisville Estate Planning Council, Kentuckiana Planned Giving Council, and an adjunct member of the American Association of Life Underwriters. \n \nTHIS IS A DO NOT MISS EVENT! David is rarely in the NY/NJ area, and now he will be here virtually, so this will be a rare opportunity for you to see and hear from one of the very best in our business! Whether you are an attorney, an accountant, a wealth management professional, investment or insurance professional, trust officer, or whoever…you are going to get the best of the best ideas from the premier expert in the United States!  \nTo register for the Zoom webinar, go to https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_1r84jZMZTFiCaZgX3YiX4w \n  \nRegister below to let us know your CE requirements. \n
