CEVASCO\n \n \n \nAndrew J. Cevasco is an experienced and successful personal and business advisor. He\n \nhas handled a broad array of matters for business and individual clients in his 35 year career\n \nranging from estate and trust planning to transactional matters to a variety of trials in both the\n \nLaw and Chancery Divisions of the New Jersey Superior Court and in Federal District Court.\n \n \n \nHe appears regularly in court regularly in will contests, trust litigation and probate\n \nmatters. He prepares wills, trusts and related estate planning documents, and is experienced in\n \nthe administration of complex estates and trusts. He also represents clients with regard to\n \nguardianship and elder law issues. He has been appointed by the Court to represent minors and\n \nallegedly incapacitated persons in both contested and uncontested probate and guardianship\n \nmatters. He lectures often in the areas of estate and tax planning and estate litigation.\n \n \n \nMr. Cevasco provides a broad range of services to the firm’s commercial clients,\n \nincluding business planning, business formation and dissolution, employment and contract\n \nissues, and real estate matters. He has also appeared before the Disciplinary Review Board and\n \nthe New Jersey Supreme Court to represent attorneys who have been charged with violations of\n \nthe Rules of Professional Conduct. He has also argued appeals to the Appellate Division of the\n \nNew Jersey Superior Court and appeared before the New Jersey Supreme Court.\n \n \n \nAfter graduating from law school, Mr. Cevasco was legal secretary to the Honorable\n \nRobert L. Clifford of the New Jersey Supreme Court, gaining hands-on experience with the legal\n \nprocess from the unique vantage point of New Jersey’s highest court. He has utilized this\n \nvaluable experience on a daily basis to effectively represent his clients.\n \n \n \nMr. Cevasco is AV Rated by Martindale Hubbell. He is listed by the Supreme Court of\n \nNew Jersey as a mediator and mentor on its Roster of Mediators and also serves as an arbitrator\n \nin the New Jersey Superior Court, Bergen County.\n \n \n \nThroughout his career, Mr. Cevasco has demonstrated dedication to public service, most\n \nrecently through his work on the N.J. Supreme Court Committee on Character, which reviews\n \napplications for admission to the New Jersey Bar. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the\n \nBergen County Bar Association, where he Co-chairs the Professionalism and Estate\n \nPlanning/Probate Committees and currently serves as the Second Vice President.\n \n \n
